Wheel Plate Shape Optimization for Heavy Axle Load Locomotive

The wheel plate shape of 35 t axle load locomotive had been optimized.The maximum equivalent stress of SPDT 24volt Relay optimized plate is less than the old one when the locomotive passing through a turnout and curve and 20-30mmHg the mass of optimized wheel was also reduced.The main features of wheel plate on heavy axial load locomotive had been proposed, which is a good reference for design the same type of wheel plate.
